Founded in 1987, BS&A Software has over 2000 municipal customers with over 7500 installations of our various software applications. We focus on four key areas of local government software:

Financial Management & Utility Billing

With more than 500 installations of our Financial Management and Utility Billing software, we have never lost a customer to a competing financial management vendor.

Property Based (Assessment and Tax Administration)

Over 97% of the Michigan Assessment and Tax Administration municipalities are BS&A Software customers.

Internet Services

With the ability to view and pay property taxes and utility bills on-line, approve purchase orders on-line or on your mobile device, and have your employees manage their payroll and HR options on-line, our Internet Services application brings eGovernment to your municipality at a value price.

Community Development

With more than 450 installations of our Community Development system, our comprehensive set of applications handles Project and Permit processes, Zoning and Property Maintenance, Inspection Tracking and Scheduling, Certification Processes, Field Data Collection, and numerous on-line and mobile application self-service tools.

All of our software is written using Microsoft’s .NET development platform with the SQL Server database engine.
