Free lookups for Taxpayers
Even though the City of East Lansing will start charging a convenience fee for access to data, property owners still receive free access to their property record and tax data.
In order to receive your free lookup, follow these steps:
- Register an account
- After receiving your password via email, Login with your account
- If you are presented with a list of units, select the City of East Lansing in Ingham County
- Perform a search that references your property
- Select the parcel number that references your property
- On your first search, the "Internet Services one time free lookup" screen will be presented. If this is your property, click the "I am the property owner (Proceed)" button. This action will associate the taxpayer name on the property with your account, and you will always receive free lookups for any property with the same owner name whenever you login with your account in the future
